Follies Farm game washed out but presentation goes ahead to mark Rob Rydon’s 27 years as Hon. Secretary
Rob Rydon was presented with an engraved tankard at the final fixture of the season at Follies Farm on Sunday 17th. Sept. to mark the end of his tenure as Honary Secretary of The Buccaneers.
Rob is standing down after 27 years in post making him easily the longest serving Hon. Sec. since the days when the Founder fulfilled that role.
As torrential rain prevented any play Rob had plenty of time to give his tankard a proper christening!
Match Manager for the day, Tom Fletcher, will be proposed at the forthcoming AGM to be the next Hon. Sec.”
